Size:
Our SOLARIS patio heaters is able to warm from 15 to 20 foot circle around the unit.

Location:
The warm glow of the infra-red heat of a patio heater instantly attracts people to gather around it. They are excellent on restaurant patios, pool decks, spas, lounge areas. Note: Remember to account for height; patio heaters require at least 18¡¨ of clearance above the top of the heater.

Care of Stainless Steel Patio Heaters:
Stainless steel does not "rust" naturally, so the shine will last a long time. A simple wiping with a damp cloth will shine it up.

Propane Gas:
Propane gas heaters are inexpensive to operate and are more powerful and provide better portability than natural gas heaters. When finished using the portable patio heater, shut off the gas supply. Never overfill you tank with propane fuel.

Piezo starter:
Piezo starter is an advance way to ignite patio heaters. A quartz crystal is used to produce a spark that lights the pilot light on the heater.

Infra-red heat:
Infra-red heat is the type of heat that comes from combustion, such as heat emitted from the sun or from a fire. Unlike the sun, your infra-red patio heater will not emit harmful UV rays.

Safety:

  • Only buy patio heaters models which are carefully engineered for safety. Industry-approved designs feature safety tilt switches (flow of gas is cut off immediately if the heater gets knocked over) sealed burners, flame controls and electronic ignitions. Note: Look for safety seals such as CSA & CE. Combustible materials and flammable vapors are quite dangerous around patio heaters and need to be far away.

  • Always keep children under supervision around the patio heater.

  • Do not hang anything including clothes, towels, or any other flammable material on or near the unit.

  • Ensure nothing is obstructing air holes or vents for proper combustion by periodically checking for blockage. Debris or spider webs can clog up these air ducts and reduce performance.

  • All fittings and hoses should be checked periodically. Gas leaks can be quite dangerous and need special attention. Always service the unit at least annually, especially after a long period of storage. Installation, service, and repairs should always be done by a qualified professional.
