Honey Lemon Sorbet

This honey lemon sorbet is a naturally sweet and soothing twist on the classic lemon sorbet. Using honey instead of sugar brings a warm, floral depth that balances the bright tartness of fresh lemon juice. It’s simple, refreshing, and ideal for a light finish to any meal or a cooling afternoon treat.

Ingredients:
  • ½ cup hot water
  • ⅔ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups cold water

Instructions:
  1. Dissolve Honey:
In a bowl, combine the hot water, honey, and lemon zest. Stir until the honey is completely dissolved.
  2. Mix:
Stir in the fresh lemon juice and cold water. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Freeze:
Pour the mixture into the bowl of your Whynter ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve in chilled bowls with a drizzle of extra honey or a lemon slice. This sorbet also pairs beautifully with tea cookies or fresh berries.
