Grapefruit Juice Sorbet

Tart, tangy, and perfectly refreshing, this grapefruit juice sorbet is a zesty twist on a classic fruit sorbet. It’s incredibly simple to make and makes an elegant alternative to chilled juice at brunch or a light, citrusy finish to any meal. The natural bitterness of grapefruit is balanced with just the right amount of sweetness for a crisp, clean flavor.

Ingredients:
  • 2⅔ cups unsweetened grapefruit juice
  • 1⅓ cups simple syrup

Instructions:
  1. Mix:
In a bowl, combine the grapefruit juice and simple syrup. Stir well until fully blended.
  2. Freeze:
Pour the mixture into the bowl of your Whynter ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve in small glasses with a slice of fresh grapefruit or a sprig of mint. This sorbet also pairs beautifully with citrus salads or as a palate cleanser between courses.
