Orange, Lime & Raspberry Sherbet Trio

Craving something fruity, refreshing, and creamy? This sherbet trio—Orange, Lime, and Raspberry—delivers all the zing and sweetness you need on a hot day. These sherbets are easy to make in your home ice cream maker and offer the perfect balance of citrusy brightness and smooth texture. Serve them individually or all together for a colorful, crowd-pleasing treat.


Orange Sherbet

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Optional: A few drops of orange food coloring for a more vibrant hue

Instructions:

  1. Stir together the orange juice, lemon juice, and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the milk, cream, and food coloring (if using); mix until fully blended.
  3. Freeze in your Whynter ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Lime Sherbet

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Optional: A few drops of green food coloring to enhance the color

Instructions:

  1. Mix the lime juice and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Stir in the milk, cream, and food coloring (if using) until well combined.
  3. Freeze in your Whynter ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Raspberry Sherbet

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries, pureed and strained
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Purée raspberries and strain to remove seeds if desired.
  2. Combine raspberry purée, sugar, lemon juice, milk, and cream in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Freeze in your Whynter ice cream maker as directed.

Serving Suggestions:

Create a sherbet sampler by scooping all three into small bowls or layer them in parfait glasses for a stunning presentation. Garnish with mint leaves, citrus zest, or a few fresh berries.
