Product Summary
The Whynter IXS-135-SW is a countertop shave ice machine with a built-in compressor. Pour cold water, a milk blend or a decarbonated drink into the 35 oz (1.0 L) tank, press the knob, and the machine freezes and shaves the liquid in one continuous step. There are no ice cubes to crush and no bowls to pre-freeze, and a full tank processes in about 6 minutes in Shaved Ice mode.
One adjustment knob controls everything. Turn it to set the speed from 5 to 60 RPM and the machine selects the texture for you: Ice Cream mode at 5 to 15 RPM, Shaved Ice mode at 10 to 40 RPM and Slushy mode at 35 to 60 RPM. A digital display shows the speed, countdown time and the active mode. Ice Cream mode uses a specially formulated ice cream mix.
The water tank, stainless steel blade assembly, water supply tray and inner shell snap in and lift out without tools, and each part confirms its position with a click and two beeps. Seven built-in protection functions pause the motor if a part is removed, protect the compressor and stop the machine after 40 minutes of continuous operation to prevent a dry run. A 300-second self-cleaning cycle refreshes the interior between flavors.
Finished in Snow White, the IXS-135-SW fits on a kitchen counter and plugs into a standard 110 to 120 V outlet. It is designed for household use and is backed by a one-year limited warranty.
